To my dear sisterMy dear, dear sister. To my dear sister
I dreamed about you last night.
For once you weren't protecting me; you were the one I had to protect. Were you proud? I didn't hesitate, I was terrified, but when I saw him wanting to hurt you I didn't hesitate. He was bigger, he was stronger but I had no fear as I attacked with a dirty glass bottle and the temper that only family can inspire.
Did you see it? I was so brave, and I protected you until the officer came and took the bad guy away. You hugged me so tightly I could feel it even through the dream. It's not fair that you're so much taller than me. You're prettier too, but

GenreTake my hand.Genre
Your hand in mine, palm against palm and fingers entwined in uncommitted intimacy. I wish to show you these worlds from which I've grown.
A gentle tug as I guide you through dusty halls of dim lighting. Keep a brisk pace for we are almost there. Follow me as we pass through these shelves and find ourselves surrounded by a world of brightly colored black, white, and aged yellow.
Hold tight as I show you dances of fairies and stay vigilant should a dragon pass by. Wish to a wizard and watch your feet as we fly away to realms of impossibility. We'll storm castle walls and join a banquet of kin

Honor, Duty, UnderstandingI wish you could feel it. The emotions bottle up for a moment of confusion and then rush over the edge like a flood pouring into your heart and mind.Honor, Duty, Understanding
I didn't understand it at first. A stranger suddenly grabbing my hand, smiling at me, thanking me. I was scared, I was confused, I was befuddled. Why me? Why had this man I'd never seen before been so led to thank me, a kid who'd done nothing? All I could do was nod and try to smile before he moved on. The world was a place with no clarity, no understanding. My hand hovered in the air, still tingling from the sudden unexpected contact.
Looking down like a fool I stared

Cracking SmileI laugh, I smile, I dance, I singCracking Smile
Life of the party, bell of the ball
Tell a joke, make them laugh
Salute and smile, aren't I cute?
This is me, this is real
But all too soon, I forget to feel
Eyes go shallow, smile stiffens
I need to rest, need to collect.
Laugh! You say. Smile! You say.
I dance, I sing, but I am no toy
For I wear out soon, all too soon
Next thing I know, before I saw;
I laugh, I smile, I dance, I sing,
And you don't suspect a thing.
| Intro; Hi! I am 54viruses; the viral one. I am an author due to my love of all things liturature and my complete fail when it comes to drawing. I am currently studying and training for the ASVAB and physical requirements of the Army. Wish me luck! Interests and work; As you can probably see I am a near-rabid Ninja turtle fan. No single terrapin warrior has caught my adoration but I love when they work as the family they are. I write a great deal of turtle fanfiction but also produce a large number of original works. I also love to write more spiritual pieces but as I can't get these to come together right they probably won't be posted. Final note Face your fears, Even if you do not conquer them, you will be a better person for it. |
